I have over 25 years experience as a Personal Trainer and I set up FLI in 2012 after returning from Spain where I was a personal trainer, health coach and physiology lecturer.
My aim is for FLI to bring a holistic approach to fitness and wellness, whether the client is part of a group or being looked after as an individual. Your health and wellbeing is our primary concern here at FLI.
If your goals are to lose weight, get fit and have more energy then we will show you how to do this – but without selling you fad diets or crazy new exercise techniques that don’t work.


My team has now grown to four fitness, therapy and training specialists, with over 60 years’ of experience between us. 
Our classes are a mix of high intensity interval training (HIIT), with cardio and resistance exercises focused around circuit training and Tabata. We believe in the personal touch, so any of our classes can be adapted to suit you.


We’re are now based at the Ashford Rugby Club.


Our passion is looking after those people who work long hours, have children, feel tired and fed up – saying “it’s too late for me”. We say – “No it’s not too late” and we have plenty of clients who will tell you the same.

    I've been hitting the early Friday morning bootcamp for just over three months now and haven't regretted dropping a gym session for one second!  I used to be in the gym three times a week but wanted to break up some of the monotony so thought I'd give it a try and add some interest back into exercise.  
    It's one of the highlights of my week now.  A great bunch of people led by Steve, who seems to have an endless list of different exercises and activities to test and stretch me (literally).
    These sessions have helped my health (the full body workout means I've lost weight and toned up) as well as my wellbeing. Comedy for an hour first thing on a Friday has to be good for everyone, surely?

    Absolutely brilliant experience. Great fun with encouraging trainers and a really friendly group.

    What’s great is that they use the holistic approach to mind and body, which I needed after a tough time in my personal life and years of eating terrible food.

    Since February, I have lost three stone, I am fitter than when I was in my early twenties and am in a great place, mentally. I attend boot camp as well as PT sessions, which I really enjoy. I can honestly say that it has been a life-changing experience with many people telling me how good and happy I look.

    I have been seeing Jenny for twice weekly PT sessions for about 8 weeks, and for the last couple of weeks also deep tissue massage with Steve.
    After struggling with a few leg issues for a couple of years that had really started to get me down and having been under GP and a physio I finally feel like I am getting somewhere with FLI.
    They are an amazing group of people, so caring, positive and knowledgeable. I look forward to each session and slowly and surely things are improving. It sounds a bit dramatic but I would honestly say they have changed my life.
